SRS can help with Noisy Neighbour Solutions

Noisy Neighbours Noisy Neighbours

Now the kids are back at school, all of a sudden we’re confronted with the sound of silence… teachers everywhere are dealing with the noise but we can now hear our noisy neighbours clocks, washing machines and possibly Queen as they do the vacuuming. At least that’s what I think my neighbours do.  So, if you’re suffering from noisy neighbours how do we solve the problem?

Noise is simply a vibration, imagine someone kicking the other side of your wall and you’re on the right track. Our solution is an isolated and very heavy board called Maxiboard that can be used to quickly and effectively soundproof a wall without losing too much space or causing too much disruption. With about 6cm of space you can use Maxiboard for soundproofing walls and you can make it even better than that required by building regulations for new build houses or flats! Even better, your neighbours will never know you’ve reduced the noise between you!

SRS Acoustilay 15 - High Performance Acoustic Underlay System

Sound Reduction Systems Ltd (SRS) are the UK’s leading innovators in acoustic building products; we want our products to really impress you. As well as Maxiboard we have a few other tricks up our sleeves, you can also use Maxiboard for soundproofing ceilings and we have Acoustilay for soundproofing floors. Acoustilay is the quickest and easiest way to reduce noise through a timber floor, simply replace your current carpet underlay with Acoustilay and you can enjoy your home cinema and the kids can go to sleep. This also works if you have a wife addicted to CSI as we’ve found….

Whatever the soundproofing problem you have, SRS will be delighted to have a chat with you to understand the problem, the building you’re starting with and then the solution that’s best for you. We’ll give you the pros and cons of the options we can offer so that you can make the best decision for you.  Our approachable technical team (all over-qualified acousticians) will be delighted to talk to you on 01204 380 074 or if you want to email us some photos or drawings you can do so via info@soundreduction.co.uk so we can use your ‘eyes and ears’ on site. Unlike most of the weird ideas you’ll find on the internet (or sometimes people in the pub), our opinions are based on experience and facts.
