Improved Acoustics for Lancaster 53rd Scouts

Sonata Aurio Project Profile

53rd Lancaster Scout Group recently had the acoustics within their hall improved with the addition of Sonata Aurio panels, supplied and installed by Sound Reduction Systems Ltd.

In total, 30m2 of Sonata Aurio class A acoustic absorption panels were installed to the ceiling within the hall, evenly distributed across its surface, reducing the modelled reverberation time from 2.33s to 0.98s.

Adrian Law, Group Scout Leader commented:

“The acoustics within our Scout hut and are so much better now.  I have just passed your details on to the landlord of our local micropub, who is having problems with the acoustics at the premises.  I’m sure he’ll be in touch soon!”

Sonata Aurio absorbers are an effective way of improving acoustics with most kinds of buildings and have been used to reduce reverberation within many Scout huts and community buildings.
