Need Advice?

Maxiboard is an extremely high performance and versatile acoustic building board. Maxiboard can be used as an alternative to plasterboard to dramatically increase the acoustic performance of both existing and newly constructed ceilings.

Maxi 60 (1 Hour Fire Rated): The Maxi 60 ceiling system is ideal in situations where Building Regulations Part E compliance is required along with a 1 hour fire separation. Simply installed below the joists, the Maxi 60 ceiling system requires no additional floor treatment and, at just over 60mm deep, minimises loss of room height.

Maxi Dropped Ceiling: The Maxi Dropped Ceiling System is ideal in situations where compliance with Building Regulations Part E is required, or noise transfer through a ceiling is an issue, but you don’t want the disruption of removing the existing ceiling. The Maxi Acoustic Dropped Ceiling can be installed beneath existing plasterboard and lath and plaster ceilings.

Maxi MF Ceiling: The Maxi MF acoustic ceiling system is ideal in situations where compliance with Building Regulations Part E is required, or noise transfer through a ceiling is an issue, and the ceiling needs to be dropped below steels beams or other architectural features.  Maxi MF also offers practical advantages where existing constructions are not perfectly straight and true as the strap hangers used to support the system can be cut to different lengths. The Maxi MF ceiling can be installed beneath existing joists or existing plasterboard and lath and plaster ceilings.

Maxi Beam and Block Ceiling: The Maxi Beam and Block Ceiling system is ideal in situations where Building Regulations Part E compliance is required along with a 1 hour fire separation. Simply installed below the Rackham Housefloors beam and block floor, the Maxi Beam and Block ceiling system minimises loss of room height.
