Home soundproofing can also be achieved with Acoustilay. Used as a carpet or timber floor underlay, Acoustilay is great for reducing impact noise. In fact, opt for the heavier versions, Acoustilay 8 and Acoustilay 15, and you'll significantly cut airborne noise transmission, too.

Soundstop is an acoustic curtain made from highly absorbent acoustic foam sandwiched around a dense sheet of lead which can easily be shaped to soundproof a boiler.
