The Total Party Floor Solution was developed originally for specifiers looking to achieve an ‘enhanced specification’. It's an innovative specification for a timber floor that exceeds the performance requirement suggested by the Code. Yet it's finished with a hardwearing, hygienic laminate floor.

Traditional in structure, the timber-joisted floor benefits from an SRS Maxi 60 ceiling to the lower rooms, with a hard floor finish floating above a layer of SubPrimo Acoustic underlay. The (independently verified) results speak for themselves (see the acoustic performance section).

As well as the acoustic benefits, the SRS Total Party Floor exceeds the fire-resistance requirements of Building Regulations (achieving 86 minutes' load-bearing capability) and is almost deceptively simple to install. It needs minimal build-up of the floor surface and little loss of head room below.
